My soap making process

Soaps are made in small batches and vary in aromas. I play with them and be adventurous.

Always made with goats milk or coconut milk, cacao butter, coconut oil, shea butter & vitamin E, essential oils and various extracts. Soaps are made weekly in different aromas, so I have no set ones I make as a rule but they are all gorgeous and you would be happy with any choice on offer. Here are some examples and I have found that the women buy the men soaps for themselves.

Women Blends: patchouli and rose. vanilla absolute, honey myrtle and sandalwood or lavender & lemon always goes down well.

Men Blends: patchouli, clove, sandalwood, bergamot. Bergamot, olive, thyme and clove. Another is rosemary, red thyme, cedarwood, vetiver, clove, sandalwood. Special requests for a signature fragrance can be arranged through email.

Some are made with exfoliation in them by using coconut sugar, himalayan salts, pumice, poppy seeds, almond meal or oats even grinded adzuki beans.

I call my soaps “Therapy Bars” they are soothing, healing and moisturizing and good for your soul.

Rose Cold Cream

Created by a roman physician by the name of Galen was created over 2000 years back. This vanishing cold cream has somewhat made a comeback. Over the years the original formula was played and ruined with by adding preservatives fillers and all toxic synthetics just so the cream would behave!! and have a long shelf life. I’m fascinated and delighted with old things and this recipe and cream is to good to just vanish so it’s been brought back to life with a few necessary additions (not many, but it’s not the original recipe) its better NATURALLY. I’ve replaced the rose water with honey and added rose essential oil.

ORIGINAL RECIPE rose water, beeswax and fats from unrefined shea butter or coconut oil.

ROSE COLD CREAM RECIPE honey, beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter and rose essential oil.

Its marvelous and versatile if you went away for a weekend that all you would have to take for face products for example it can be used as a cleanser day cream, night cream, mask, lip balm, and dry skin patches on the body.
